CarboNet Year in Review

We’ve had a great time meeting industry pros, teaching others about our technology, and scooping up a few awards along the way. Here’s a recap of the top CarboNet highlights for 2022.

What a year 2022 has been here at CarboNet. When we weren’t in the field helping customers make the transition to recycled water, we were in the lab developing new products to amplify all kinds of water treatments. We’ve had a great time meeting industry pros, teaching others about our technology, and scooping up a few awards along the way.

Here’s a recap of the top CarboNet highlights for 2022:

New Distribution Partnerships & Applications

This year we started working with a number of valuable partners – Brenntag, Chemco, and Univar – to help bring our unconventional chemistry to new waters. While expanding our network is always exciting, the best part about our new partnerships is gaining insights into today's biggest water treatment challenges. We’re continuing to get products to more customers and are tackling wastewater across industries including automotive, food & beverage, and refineries

New Product Launch Coming in 2023

We’re gearing up to launch the cationic version of CarboNet SimpleFloc™ in the new year. Extensive field testing has demonstrated that CarboNet SimpleFloc™ will be cost-competitive with dry and liquid emulsion cationic flocculants. We can’t wait for operators to get their hands on it. Just like with the anionic version of SimpleFloc™, the cationic version will offer the same net positive benefits and simplicity.

Awards & Recognition

Our chemistry has been catching the eyes of many. This year we were honored to be recognized as one of Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas and to be named one of Foresight’s 50 Most Investible Companies.

Our very own Michael Carlson was also named an Emerging Leader by Clean50 for his role as Co-Founder and CTO of CarboNet. Both Mike and our Director of Research & Development, Khatera Hazin, were also featured in H2O Global in an expert Q&A and Women in Water Q&A

Growing Strong

While some of us were talking to folks at events like BlueTech, the Global Water Summit, WEFTEC, and AWT, many more of us were busy working behind the scenes on our brand new production facility in Midland, Texas. With a 5 acre yard and 9000 square foot building, we’re at 3x the capacity we were before. Whether you need a 55-gallon drum or an ISO – we’ve got it. This is a huge #CarboNetPROUD moment for us and a milestone that will surely impact our growth here on out.

Be sure to stay tuned in 2023 to witness all the work we have in store!
